Small Schemes section is responsible for the calculation of benefits for The Legal Aid (Scotland) Pension Scheme (LA(S)PS). The LA(S)PS is by analogy to National Health Service Pension Scheme ( This means that we follow the same rules as this scheme) . Our main duties include the calculation of retirement , early severance and death benefits , transfers to and from the pension schemes, and added years.
