THE NEW LOCAL GOVERNMENT PENSION SCHEME - 1 APRIL 2009
The following tables list regulations which govern the new Local Government Pension Scheme in Scotland which comes into force on 1 April 2009. To view these regulations and subsequent amendment regulations click on the relevant link below.
NB: Other than the provisions listed in Schedule 1 of The Local Government Pension Scheme (Transitional Provisions) (Scotland) Regulations 2008 (SSI 2008/229), The Local Government Pension Scheme (Scotland) Regulations 1998 are revoked by SSI 2008/229 - but continue in effect for leavers between 1 April 1998 and 31 March 2009 (both dates inclusive) by regulation 5 of SSI 2008/229.
