Determinations
Determinations by the Scottish Ministers
When an application for early retirement or injury benefits has not succeeded
or there is a dispute over the interpretation of the regulations in any
particular case, the member may ask the Scottish Ministers to determine
their rights under the Superannuation Scheme Regulations.
The table below gives a statistical breakdown for each quarter from April
2008of the number and type of determinations received and the outcomes.
