There are now two Police Pensions Schemes and both are administered at local level by the individual Scottish police authorities.

The day to day responsibility for the operation of the scheme rests with the authority concerned and any questions you may have about your pension should be made with the pensions team at the relevant authority.

This Agency is responsible for the regulation of both Police Pension Schemes in Scotland and this role includes introducing new legislation that meets the policy intentions of the Executive.
